As a part of their Atmiya Yuva Adhivation (Convention) to be celebrated/held on 3rd Jan 2016 at Surat, around 500 youths and volunteers from Varachha, Udhana, Adajan and Mahidharpura had collectively, under the leadership from P. Guruprasadswami and the saint mandal of Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada, organized and carried out a Cleanliness Campaign during the auspicious morning of the new year on Friday, the 1st January 2016 of cleaning the Navadi bank situated at Nanpura of Tapi river, the life line of Surat City, in which, Shri Purneshbhai Modi (MLA, and city BJP president), Shri Madansinhbhai Atodariya (City Min., BJP-Surat) and other prominent citizens from the local areas had also joined enthusiastically.

Inspired by a noble aim of developing the spirit of unity among the youths and to expand and increase their internal strengths and they live with each other with the spirit of sportsman spirit in the society by forgetting all the difference of caste and creed, Yogi Divine Society had, under its “Youths Awareness Campaign” organized an Atmiya Open Tennis Cricket Tournament at Surat. The opening ceremony of which, was celebrated on Sunday, the 31st Jan 2016 in the presence of renowned personalities of the city. All the participants of this tournament also had remained present in this ceremony to express and present a best picture of their Atmiyata.

While regularly carrying out various activities of social services, Yogi Divine Society also does a number of activities for preserving the environment for the betterment of entire humanity as a part of which, a small effort was made by the saints and the Volunteers of Yogi Divine Society and the leading residents of Surat City with the cooperation from Fevicol Co. by planting 60 trees in the Sardar Patel Play Ground on Saturday, the 13th Aug 2016 before celebrating the independence day at Moti Ved, Surat.

Yogi Divine Society had, on Sunday, the 24th September 2016, made an effort to popularize and encourage the use of renewable sources of energy to nearly 60 individuals under “Solar Roof-top Scheme”.

While doing a number of social service activities in the society, Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada also participates in many of cleanliness programs conducted at national levels and constantly works for developing national awareness for the same among the general public. In one of such programs, carried out in Jyotiba Fule Marathi School in Surat on 27/9/2016, the Volunteers of this institution had taught the lessons of maintaining cleanliness in the entire society to nearly 200 students/children.

The volunteers of Yogi Divine Society had cleaned on Friday, the 30th September 2016 the campus of Shree Gordhandas Ranchhoddas Chokhavala Primary School managed and run by Nagar Primary Education Committee, Surat and situated on Unapani Road, Lal Darwaja in which cleanliness campaign, around 35 volunteers and youths of the institution had participated.

The semi-final and final match of Atmiya Tennis-Cricket Tournament, started among 32 teams on Sunday, the 31st January 2016 in Ved, Surat, was played on Sunday, the 24th April 2016 in the presence of many leading persons and the spectators. All the players making good performances and the winning teams were encouraged by awarding them suitably.

In order to spread and increase the awareness about cancer as well as for its cure/treatment and its eradication from the entire world, the 4th February is being observed as the “World Cancer Day” on international level. On account of this, under their campaign of public awareness in the matter, Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada had organized a public awareness sabha on Wednesday, the 17th Feb 2016 at 9:00 PM at night in Ankur Vidya Bhavan on Amba Talavadi Road in Katargam. In this meeting, Dr. Shaileshbhai Jethwa (M.D. Physician —Sardar Hospital, Ved Road, Surat) had given all the detailed and basic information and guidance about the cancer disease. Around 200 youths had received the detailed knowledge about this disease of cancer in this sabha.
