As a part of their Atmiya Yuva Adhivation (Convention) to be celebrated/held on 3^rd Jan 2016 at Surat, around 500 youths and volunteers from Varachha, Udhana, Adajan and Mahidharpura had collectively, under the leadership from P. Guruprasadswami and the saint mandal of Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada, organized and carried out a Cleanliness Campaign during the auspicious morning of the new year on Friday, the 1^st January 2016 of cleaning the Navadi bank situated at Nanpura of Tapi river, the life line of Surat City, in which, Shri Purneshbhai Modi (MLA,  and city BJP president), Shri Madansinhbhai Atodariya (City Min., BJP-Surat) and other prominent citizens from the local areas had also joined enthusiastically.

The Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi, has started “Clean India Campaign” and has given a call for cleanliness as part of which, the cleanliness campaigns are regularly being carried out in all the big or small cities of India and, following this, around 500 volunteers from Varachha, Udhana, Adajan and Mahidharpura had collectively, under the leadership and the guidance from P. Guruprasadswami and the saint mandal from Yogi Divine Society, organized and carried out cleaning of the Navadi bank situated at Nanpura of Tapi river, the mother to the people of Surat.

Like for human beings, the water is the stream of life for all the living beings and even then, the people are, knowingly or ignorantly and carelessly spoiling/contaminating the water and thereby, are creating question marks before the life of their future generations but, to spread the awareness against this, Yogi Divine Society had made an appreciable effort through this cleanliness campaign.

The saints and the workers from the institution had collected the waste and the dirt from the bank and the flow of the river and had destroyed it. They had even removed the creepers grown on the bank, and the plastic bags from the water for which the workers had to go their knee deep into the dirty and bad-  smelling water from over the moss without bothering about their health as well as they had also cleaned the tree leaves and other dust and dirt from the steps of the bank and the ground where the people used to come for a stroll. As a part of Cleanliness Campaign, the saints and the workers of the institution had collected as much as around 2 full trucks, the refuse from the Navadi bank of Tapi river as well as from the flow of the river and had destroyed the same.

Shri Purneshbhai Modi (MLA, and city BJP president), Shri Madansinhbhai Atodariya (City Min., BJP-Surat) and other prominent citizens from the local areas had also joined enthusiastically in this program by the institution and had highly and whole heartedly appreciated it’s such a noble activity of social service and its initiative for public awareness in the matter.
