A one day youth shibir (camp) was organized on Sunday, the 7th February 2015 at Bhuj in the presence of regional saint leader P. Shrijisaurabhswami and from Haridham, the saint leaders like P. Subodhjivanswami, P. Dharmakishorswami, P. Harisharanswami, P. Prabhudarshanswami and P. Vitaragswami had all specially come for this occasion. Around 250 youths from Bhuj and its surrounding areas had participated in this shibir.

In the beginning of the shibir, all the saints were welcomed by garlanding them at the hands of elders and the youths. Then, in the 1st session of the shibir, in his address, P. Prabhudarshanswami informed about the disastrous effects of electronic media on the youths in the present age. He also explained that, the indiscreet use of TV-Movies and Mobiles have made the youth living in an illusionary world as a result of which, they are gradually dragged away from the reality of life and their personal relations. Because of the adverse effects of these media, the students are also found complaining about loss of their memory and lack of concentration in their studies etc. leading them towards ruin of their careers and ultimately heading towards total failure in their life. To remain safe and saved from all these troubles, the company of good friends is a must.

This was followed by a forceful and confident unique speech by P. Dharmakishorswami, who presented the incidents/examples of benefits to the youths in their life by positivity and good company. He also narrated the exemplary topics from Ramayan and Mahabharat and reminded that Kaikeyee had a company of Manthara and Karna was in company with Duryodhan resulting in spoiling of their minds and leading them both to disastrous fall in their life. From this, he advised all, to always keep good company/friendship and to keep totally away from addictions.

This was followed by an address by a youth volunteer from Rajkot, Ombhai Taraiya, who said that, though, the child Narendranath was a very naughty boy, when he came in touch with his Guru Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansa, with his blessings, his entire life got totally changed/transformed and the world got Swami Vivekananda. Similarly, he said that, by making friendship with a real/appropriate friend like a sound Guru, we can fulfill our life too and this, he proved/established by presenting real and concrete/practical examples/incidents.

In the 2nd session of the shibir after lunch and rest, saint leader P. Harisharanswami, while talking mainly on the subject “You (God) only be happy” (tu raaji thaa…) and explaining it from different angles said that, today, the youths are doing unceasing/unlimited efforts only to satisfy their mind, intellect and senses and added that, we haven’t got this life only for enjoying the physical pleasure or only earning abundant wealth but, to enjoy the real peace, pleasure and happiness by living with Atmiyata with every member in the family. Today, the man has succeeded in reaching the Moon but, has failed in reaching the hearts of their neighbours.

The saint leader P. Prabodhjivanswami narrated in his address the unimaginable/unprecedented pain taken by P.P. Guruhari Swamiji for satisfying/pleasing His Guru P.P. Yogiji Maharaj and said that, even today also, even at His such an old age of 82 years, He has been devoting every second of His life only for the upliftment of the youths in their life, by visiting places everywhere in the entire country and internationally in the whole world and, by mixing up with every youth in his life and sharing all his problems and solving them after going right up to his level, giving/presenting related concrete/real/practical examples/incidents of Swamiji’s life. Stating that, since P.P. Swamiji Has totally devoted 50 most valuable and important years of His life to us all, he asked, “What type of a life should we all live?” and then, he only explained as to what kind of life P.P. Swamiji is expecting from us all.

In the end of the shibir, the regional saint leader of Bhoolku Pradesh P. Shrijisaurabhswami, while presenting the thanks to all, said that, it only will be our nobility if and only if we all accept and practise everything in our life totally, whatever we have heard and learnt here in this shibir and, this shibir will be a real success if and only if we start living our life according to that.

The entire sabha was managed by Shri Bhaveshbhai Khodiyar. The youth volunteers had cooperated in the total arrangement of the shibir under the guidance of regional leaders like Shri Nareshbhai Joshi, Shri Sanjaybhai Mehta, Shri Visanjibhai Khodiyar, Shri Hemantbhai Kachhadiya and Shri Bimalbhai Chauhan.
