On account of the World AIDS Day, the 1st December, to spread the awareness about AIDS in the society, Yogi Divine Society had organized a seminar on Sunday, the 11th Dec 2016 in Atmiyadham, Manjalpur, Vadodara in which, around 2500 gents and ladies from different area of Vadodara had participated.

World Health Organization is celebrating 1st December as the “World AIDS Day” in the entire world every year. Yogi Divine Society is making all the possible efforts to bring an awareness about the disease of AIDS at different levels of the society and as a part of this activity, it had organized a program of presentation in Atmiyadham, Manjalpur, Vadodara.

By attaching/putting a red ribbon like the symbol of AIDS on the shoulder of every attendant in the shibir, an effort was made to bring awareness about AIDS.

In the beginning of the shibir, a resident of Canada, Sri Jayantibhai, while describing the life of youths in his contact there, said to the participants that, their stay on foreign soil, the effect of foreign culture on them, the company of bad friends had made their life self-willed and they had started smoking, taking wine and non-veg, seeing movies but, after coming in contact with Yogi Divine Society’s president P.P. Hariprasadswamiji, His saints and volunteers they realized the value of their life and knew that, the way on which they were going, was leading toward ruin and totally a ruin only. After this, their hearts and minds were transformed and today, they all are living the best and totally pure/sacred life following the ideals of Indian cultures.

Then, based on the theme for which seminar was organized a presentation was shown by the institution’s volunteer Sri Dharmeshbhai Pandaya which provided information about AIDS like its deadliness, the reasons for our getting infected by the H.I.V. virus, its symptoms and the treatment for it etc. by showing the related pictures and the figures while also describing what precautionary steps should be taken to be secure from it. Even today, when the science itself also doesn’t have any 100 % treatment/cure for it, explaining the slogan “Precaution is the best Cure” he requested the people to cooperate more and more in spreading the awareness about AIDS to curb its spread in the society.

On taking opinions of the participants at the end of the presentation, everybody appreciated in one voice such activities of social services done by Yogi Divine Society and, promising to fully cooperate in spreading in the society the information received here, they also requested to repeat such activities at different places too.
