Lord Swaminarayan has forbidden consumption of intoxicating objects like Tobacco, Cannabis, Hemp, Opium etc. The Fifth Heir in the same spiritual Hierarchy HDH P.P.Hariprasadswamiji,The Founder President of Yogi DIVINE Society (YDS) Haridham-SOKHADA too strongly condemns and prohibits consumption and addictions of such things. The Government of Gujarat w.e.f. 15-12-2016 amended COTPA act with its immediate effect to totally banned Hukkabars in the entire state as a strong move. HDH HARIPRASADSWAMIJI in a strong support to such a move wrote a letter to the H'ble Young Energetic and dedicated Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Vijaybhai Rupaniji welcoming such a strong step. In response to Swamishri's gesture,The H'ble CM Shri Rupaniji on 23-12-2016 replied thanking Swamishri to support the move.

Yogi Divine Society had, at the hands of its regional saints P. Shreejicharanswami and P. Suhradswami, distributed 100 blankets free of cost to the people from poor and backward class on Monday, the 14th November 2016 at Swaminarayan Farm in Kalidoli when nearly 600 ladies and gents associated with Yogi Divine Society were present.

Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada and Jay Charities, Kandivali, Mumbai had jointly organized a blood donation camp at Atmiyadham, Goregaon on Sunday, the 4th Sept 2016 between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm and had collected 125 bottles of blood there as a part of their social service activity.

A blood donation camp was organized in Navneet Hospital, conducted at Dahisar in Mumbai by Jain Manav Kalyan Kendra, on Sunday, the 21st August 2016 jointly by Manav Kalyan Kendra, Yogi Divine Society and Jay Charities in which, as result of efforts by zealous youth volunteers of Yogi Divine Society 170 units of blood was collected.
