In order that the real Indian culture of the Indian youths living on the foreign soils i.e. U.S.A. is safeguarded and they can save themselves from the effects of bad company and addictions and achieve right/bright success in their studies and the careers, Yogi Divine Society, Haridham, Sokhada, Vadodara, Gujarat, India had organized a camp/shibir under its Youth Awakening Campaign at Huston on Sunday, the 15th May 2016 in the presence of P. Gungrahakswami and P. Anandsagarswami in which, around 150 youths, the boys and the girls, from Huston as well as the cities like Dalas, Austin and San Antonio had participated.

In the beginning of the shibir, the saints were welcomed by offering them the bouquets and then, the representatives of the youths staying in different cities collectively lighted a lamp as per the Indian tradition to inaugurate the shibir.

In the 1st session, Shri Bansibhai had explained to the youths present there the aim and the purpose of the shibir and explained to all as to what was to be take along from this shibir. Then, the youth volunteers from New Jersey Shri Ojasbhai said, “We all are really very lucky to be able to attend this shibir because, we learn here, the unique art/technique of living a positive life even during the most difficult times of our life and here, we come in contact/touch with good/real saints and new friends from whose thoughts, speeches and actions, our life also gets changed/transformed.”

Then, while advising the youths never to be disappointed or frustrated in the life, P. Gungrahakswami guided the youths in his pleasant speech how to face the challenges/difficulties of life and, reminding about the wish of P.P. Hariprasadswamiji, he also advised all to keep friendship with good friends and guides by clarifying its importance and called upon all to invariably attend such shibirs whenever possible. He also invited all youths present there to come at upcoming Atmiya Youth Shibir-2016.

Then, Shri Amolbhai, originally who is the resident of and comes from Maharashtra, India and is now staying in Houston, described the drastic positive/constructive change that had come in his life as result of a totally selfless love from the president of the institution, Yogi Divine Society, P.P. Hariprasadswamiji and the constant and continuous care taking for the training, developing and establishing a society of real youths by His saints and asked everybody present there to develop a real friendship with the workers and the saints of this institution.

Then, a program, the “Hot Seat” was organized in which, the saint leaders P. Gungrahakswami and P. Anandsagarswami and the youth leader Shri Kishanji had made a dialogue with all the youths from the stage and had replied to their questions/problems and had given them the satisfactory answers and the solutions during which, in reply to a question from a youth, Shri Kishanji had, while explaining/convincing him about loss of watching TV-Movies on the basis of scientific facts, had also explained/guided as to how we can keep our eyes, ears and the tongues always positive. P. Gungrahakswami asked to trust and believe those bhagvadis who are ahead of/seniors to us in the qualities and also explained as to what are the obstacles on this path. While guiding the youths for achieving their goals, P. Anandsagarswami guided them in the simple way to do only those things which are necessary to be done and nothing which is not. In other words, he said that, while neglecting/avoiding all other unwanted things, if we concentrate all our physical and mental energies in achieving our goal, we can achieve it easily/quickly.

After this, all the youths had taken their meals during a break and then, had also participated in the light games and had enjoyed them. In the beginning of the 2nd session, the youths had presented a drama explaining as to how a positive change/transformation comes in our life and it finds entirely a new direction by attending such youth shibirs.

Then, while addressing the audience, P. Anandsagarswami said that, it is very important/necessary to have the company of good friends in the life because, by meeting them frequently and by establishing with them the relation of open heartedness, we get the courage/strength to live in positive surrounding and a positive attitude is gradually developed in our internal mind/senses as a result of which, we ourselves start living accordingly and the external circumstances also start becoming favorable to us. In short, a change starts developing around us. He also invited the youths to attend the forthcoming youth shibir with their friends and requested them to encourage the other youths also, to join the Youth Awareness Campaign it being an alternative to the positivity.

After this, Shri Dhruvbhai from San Antanio narrated the changes/transformation that came in his life as a result of his coming in touch/contact with P.P. Hariprasadswamiji and developing the friendliness with saints and emphasized on the necessity of making friends with saints based on his own personal experiences. Then, Shri Sugneybhai, a youth volunteer from New Jersey explained the necessity of making friends with saints to make our eyes, ears and the toungue positive. He also described many examples showing that, with the help, guidance and the blissings of a rare/unique guide like P.P. Hariprasadswami, the hearts and mind of a number of modern youths have changed positive even on the lands of the foreign countries and they have succeeded in preserving the Indian culture and sanctity/purity.

In the end of the shibir, all listened to the divine speech by P.P. Swamiji followed by the saints taking out a group-photograph with the participating youths as a memory of this shibir for them and inviting them to attend the forthcoming shibir after which, everybody dispersed for his destination.
