Medical Van - In the Service of Humanity, Haridham
A program of dedicating 4 medical mobile vans in the service of general public, at the hands of high dignitaries like the president of Yogi Divine Society P.P. Hariprasadswamiji, Sri Purushottambhai Rupala (Central Ag. Min.), Sri Kiritsinh Rana (MLA, Limbdi), Sri Bharatbhai Dangar (Mayor, Vadodara), Dr. Pareshbhai Dave (Adl. Health Dir., Gandhinagar), Sri Harindra Vala (108 Ambulance) and the institution’s elderly saints P. Kothariswami, P. Nirmalswami, P. Premswami, the secretary Sri Vitthaldas Patel, Sri Dave Saheb, was organized at 5.00 pm on Sunday, the 8th January 2017 at Haridham, Sokhada in the presence of around 23,000 people.
Today, even after 7 decades of independence, the primary health services are not available in the interior parts of villages in India and, because of their weak and poor financial conditions, the lac of laborers and the peoples working in the farms and the tribes there can’t afford to go to cities to get the badly/urgently required medical facilities/services. Considering this situation, Yogi Divine Society has been providing all types of free medical services to all such people since the last 15 years regularly and constantly through its 2 mobile medical vans in such remote areas of backward/interior villages.
It is really a matter great pride for Yogi Divine Society that, considering and highly appreciating this constantly well planned and managed free and selfless medical services to the most needy and highly deserving class of society, based on the concerned reports, the Govt. of Gujarat has entrusted to it, the management of such 3 more medical vans and, from “Sodhani Foundation – New Jersey, America” also, the responsibility of such 1 more van has also been entrusted to it.
While giving additional information about the health oriented/related activities by Yogi Divine Society, P. Santoshswami, related with them, informed that, in every mobile medical van, there always will remain the appointed staff of 3 persons i.e. one highly qualified and experienced doctor, one assistance and one driver who will visit door to door to check-up/diagnose the patients from the poor people in the remote villages and give them the required proper medicines also free of cost and, with the help of these vans, the work of guiding for and raising the awareness about health in the public on declared health days will also be done.
After the above process, while talking about the dixa given to 3000 house holders in the morning session, Sri Rupala Sir said in his address that, the rishi tradition being vanished today from the society has been revived and continued by P.P. Hariprasadswami through the creation/establishment of ambrish society. While highly appreciating the dedication of public mobile medical vans, he said that, though the poor patients are bound to get free services of their health checkups and the required medicines, side by side, they are also going to get P.P. Hariprasadswamiji’s blessings too, as a result of which, while curing their diseases, good culture will also be developed in them.
After declaring Haridham as “Cashless” on 23rd Dec, for canvassing/spreading the message of Cashless India Campaign, the institution has taken up on hand various efforts to inform the general public about the various systems of cashless transactions. A program of opening through a remote, a small animation documentary, at the hands of institution’s president P.P. Hariprasadswamiji and Central Agriculture Min. Sri Purushottam Rupala jointly was done to explain NACH SYSTEM. In addition to this, 12,000 leaflets and the registration forms for registration under this scheme were also distributed to encourage people to accept/adopt this cashless system.
In addition to the above dignitaries, Dr. Dhruv (Ahmedabad), Dr. Itare (R.D.-Vadodara), Dr. Pandya Sir (Mobile Van Dr.), Dr. Budgujar Sir (Mobile Van Dr.), Dr. Birenbhai Chouhan, and Dr. Rajesh Kanthariya also remained present in this program.
