Workshop to crack Job Interview - 2016, Kandivali, Mumbai
In its Kandivali center at Mumbai in Ghanshyam Pradesh, Yogi Divine Society had, on Saturday, the 6th August 2016, organized a shibir to guide aspiring jobless youths by Sri Patanjali Alaiya as to how to face the difficulties and successfully clear the interviews.
In the present day Hi-Fi age, though the people are applying simultaneously at many places for job, they can’t secure one anywhere because, they can’t satisfy the interviewing experts due to lack of right knowledge/information and presentation of their skill and hence, are not selected for the jobs. Keeping this fact in mind, Yogi Divine Society had organized a seminar at “Atmiya Cultural and Welfare Center” at their Kandivali Center, Mumbai for guiding such aspirants by Sri Patanjali Alaiya (M.B.A.-H.R., Xavier’s School of Management) in which, 40 gents and ladies had participated.
In the beginning, the institution’s leading volunteer Sri Krishnabhai Majithiya had introduced Sri Patanjali Alaiya and had advised all the participants to properly understand and remember whatever he teaches to act accordingly while attending an interview.
With the help of a power point presentation, Sri Patanjali Sir had informed/guided as to where the candidates are generally making mistakes and said that, because, 95% of the interview depends upon body language and the tone of voice, due attention must be paid on the movements of body. He also talked about small things like eye contacts, the style of shaking hands, not sitting with folded hands or legs etc. Based on personal long experience of years, he also advised to select a job/company as per own skill and educational qualification, to wear proper dress while going for an interview, to decide in advance as to what would be the right salary according to the job profile etc. and, in the end, he made a conversation with all the participants and gave solutions to their questions/problems.
All the participating candidates had now expressed their confidence of successfully facing the interviews.
