Cancer Awarness Drive - 2016, Khadoli
The 4th of February is being celebrated as “World Cancer Day” at international level every year to increase the awareness about Cancer among the people and also for its treatment and eradication. On this occasion, Yogi Divine Society had organized a seminar on Wednesday, the 2nd March 2016 in Khadoli village of Zaghadiya Tal. in Bharuch Dist. in which, around 40 persons had received the knowledge about Cancer.
Through a presentation prepared by Yogi Divine Society on this subject, the attendants present there knew as to how the cancer occurs/develops, the types and symptoms of it and what to do after it develops and also how to prevent its attack.
Talking on this subject, Shri Rakeshbhai Babarbhai Patanwadiya informed that, the cancer can be divided mainly into 2 parts, genetic and environmental. The spread of cancer becomes fast in the life due to today’s tension-full and fast life which is aggravated further due to addiction of wine and tobacco in the life. Moreover, the cancer is coming slowly and silently and hence it is generally too late by the time it is detected. Though, it is not an incurable disease now but, the cost of its treatment is very expensive and painful and so, it is better, if it is detected at an early stage. Keeping all this facts in mind, he also provided information as to how can we detect it in its early stage and how to prevent its spread. The consumption of wine and smoking is quite a common and routine thing among the people in this areas which is the root cause of wide spread of cancer here and hence, he advised the people to keep away from all such things.
Everybody present in the program had fully learnt about the dangers, symptoms and the ways/steps of preventing the cancer and had decided to spread this information/knowledge among all the surrounding people in the society to be helpful to them in preventing the spread of cancer and simultaneously, they all highly and whole heartedly appreciated such works/programs by Yogi Divine Society for free public services in the society.
