The volunteers of Yogi Divine Society had distributed clothes free to the poor families in Halpativas area of Umber Village in Surat kantha Area on Wednesday, the 11th Nov 2015 in the presence of the Sarpanch of Umber and the Vice Sarpanch of Talangpur.

The three basic needs of human beings are the food, clothes and the shelter meaning, Roti, Kapada and the Makan. The people/residents of backward areas of Halpativas of Umber are staying in houses like rough hut/cottages and maintain their life on irregular income of labour work. When the children of rich families spend/waste thousands of rupees on crackers during the period of Diwali, the children of these families don’t have with them even the good/proper clothes to wear and then, their such a helplessness, poverty is clearly seen/visible in their eyes.

The volunteers of Yogi Divine Society had made a small effort to draw/see a fine glimpse of happiness on the face of these families by distributing to them the clothes in the presence of Sarpanch of Umber and the Vice Sarpanch of Talangpur. On the holy day of Diwali, one pair of clothes each to 14 children, a pair of Pent-Shirt each to 13 gents and the sarees to the 7 ladies were distributed by them in the presence of the Sarpanch of Umber and the Vice Sarpanch of Talangpur.

Having received the new clothes during the festive days of Diwali, these poor citizens of this area had whole heartedly thanked the institution and its volunteers.
