World No Tobacco Day - 2015, Navagam-Nadiad

         With a view to widely spread the message in the general/mass public and to awaken them against the deadly effects and results of consuming tobacco through any means in any way through any of its products and to prompt them to give up such habits for living a healthy life and to reduce the death ratios of human beings due to deadly diseases resulting out of using tobacco, a general/open meeting, under and as a part of the Yogi Divine Society’s “Relief From Addictions” program was organized by Yuvak Mandal of Navagaon (Village Areas), of Sevayagna Pradesh (Nadiad) on Thursday, the 28th May 2015 at Primary School (Navagaon)

The youth worker Sri Chandreshbhai Panchal who came from Hathaj, through a Powerpoint presentation, informed the attendants as to what is this “World Tobacco Prohibition Day?, Why is it observed? and also about the deadly diseases developing by consuming tobacco and its serious consequences. He also showed the ways & means to curb the spread of use of tobacco in its different forms which is seen more in local young children, youths and ladies in the surrounding areas and also informed about P.P.Swamiji’s desire that the total public keep absolutely away from the use/consumption of any type of tobacco in any of its forms.

At the end of the meeting, all the 40 brothers and 15 sisters who were present in the meeting, vowed, not to touch now onwards, the deadly tobacco.
