Empowerment of Couples - 2015, Rajkot
In order to increase and spread Atmiyata (Harmony) in/among more and more families, a program of presentation on the subject titled “Empowerment of Couples” was organized by Nirgun Pradesh (Rajkot) at Yogidham, Kalavad Road, Rajkot on Sunday, the 10th May 2015 between 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, wherein around 150 elders had taken advantage.
Bharatiya Jain Sagathan, an institution from Pune has prepared/published a module of 8 parts on the subject titled ”Empowerment of Couples” to promote unity in/among the families.
An ambrish, P.B. Kalpeshbhai Padharia of Rajkot had explained in detail a part of them on this subject through this presentation.
The following were the main points of this presentation :-
(1) Day by day, the families are becoming smaller and smaller.
(2) The families in the societies get divided due to main reason such as, the lack of Atmiyata among family members.
Through this presentation it was explained as to the responsibilities of elderly persons in the families, the entire journey of children till they get young right from their rearing, i.e. it was shown/explained as to how/what should be the behavior of a daughter with her parents when she first goes to her to her in-laws place and that of her parents with her too at that time.
Such programs prove to be of utmost importance/value as they can help us in preserving our old glorious cultural values of family, social and cultural unity and affinity when we are witnessing easily breaking away of our joint happy families and their sentiments.
Thus, all were awakened about P.P.Swamiji’s noble spirit of preserving unity in families through real Atmiyata.
