Weekly assembly, AVD - Bakrol (Aug-2014)
A presentation on the subject “A Man is known by the company he keeps” was organized during a weekly assembly at Atmiya Vidhya Dham on Thursday, the 21st Aug 2014.
In the beginning of the convention, Sri Krunalbhai, through a video presentation of incidents between Lord Shri Krishna and Arjuna in Mahabharat, guided all as to what is the importance of a good company and what type of a role is played by friends in our life and by other allied incidents.
In the end, P. Anandsagarswami asked as to who/how is a good friend?, who can be the good friend for us ?, What do we lose due to the company of a bad friend ?, and emphasized that the good friends and the friendliness with real saints is inevitable in our life by narrating/presenting/describing related real examples/incidents.
In this meeting at least 500 youths from surrounding hostels of Vidhyanagar, Bakrol and Anand and about 100 elderly ladies and gents participated who enjoyed the powerpoint presentation and the snacks & dispersed after taking a vow for making friendliness with at least 2 good friends.
