Volunteer's Shibir, Haridham (August-2014)

On Date: 31 August 2014

A one day volunteers’ shibir, under the “Youth Awareness Campaign” conducted by Yogi Divine Society, was organized at Haridham, Sokhada on Sunday, the 31st Aug 2014. By attending this shibir, the 2500 active volunteers received/got an excellent guidance to relieve the present day youths from the clutches of the prevailing Kaliyug by becoming more active in youth activities.

In the beginning of the shibir at 9.00 am in the morning in the Prayer Hall, all the volunteers were lucky enough to listen to the divine speech of P.P.Swamiji, through a video presentation, who in His address said that, a volunteer means “Either this side of that side” meaning, he must achieve/act only for the results, the end. Everyone has to work/serve with the folded hands with a spirit of a real servant. Living according to own nature is equal to death. It is our ego if we are driven away/carried away when somebody is being praise/appreciated for his qualities and not us. We have to live our life on the principles of Samp, Suhradbhav and Ekta (Unity, Oneness of hearts and Oneness of minds/thoughts).

P.B. Milindbhai (Sarbhan) said in his speech that, the service to youths is our biggest responsibility. We have to dive/jump just like King Rana Pratap and his horse did it in the battle at Haldighati. Even at His such an old age of 81 years, P.P. Swamiji works hard so that we can enjoy the eternal peace/happiness in our life. We also should be thinking of youth activities even when we go to bed late in the night totally tired and, that only can be considered as our having fought in the battle field. This, he talked with very high spirit.

By narrating the related incidents of youth activities, P. Harisharanswami described as to what type of personality P.P. Swamiji is, what is His life spirit and, by constantly keeping a reference of this, he said, we will be able to do the service to youths properly and thus, he very nicely guided everybody about the works of youth activities.

Through incidental practical examples P.B. Jaybhai Brahmabhatt described as to how the members of Yogi Divine Society serve the society with pleasure-full hearts even during the incidents of respects or of insults. This, he described as one of biggest achievements in their life and called upon all the youths to join all the projects of service to youths in the similar way.

P. Gungrahakswami said in his address that, P.P. Swamiji wants every worker/volunteer of Yogi Divine Society to be such that, the emotions of Hath, Man and Irshya can’t move/touch/distract him from his goal. He also described, providing related practical examples that, the volunteers are serving the society with total control/balance of their mind keeping exactly before their eyes the expectations of P.P. Swamiji from them and as per His commands and according to His spirit of life. He provided very useful guidance for being an instrument in youth services by rising above the feelings of emotions of Hath, Man and Irshya i.e. Obstinacy, prestige/respect and envy/jealousy.

In the end, P. Sarvamangalswami talked about the life spirit of P.P. Swamiji and said that, He expects that the youths to live their life by achieving higher goals in their life by developing and keeping friendliness with good friends and real saints and purify/make their eyes, ears and tongues positive and to serve their family, the society and the nation. He also explained as to how the leaders should go right up to the levels of other youths and work to train them.

The MLA from Vadodara and the Finance Minister of Guj State Sri Saurabhbhai Patel who also was present in the shibir, garlanded the portrait of P.P. Swamiji and was welcomed with a garland by the secretary of Yogi Divine Society Sri Dave Saheb. The BJP president of Vadodara Sri Bharatbhai Dangre also attended the shibir. Sri Saurabhbhai, in his short but sweet and to the point speech, very highly appreciated the institution’s all-round activities of social services and youth activities along with P.P. Swamiji’s world vide works and gave appropriate guidance to all the youths present, for their social services.
