World AIDS Day - 2016, Jambusar
On account of the World AIDS Day, the 1st December, to spread the awareness about AIDS in the society, Yogi Divine Society had organized a seminar on Monday, the 19th Dec 2016 in Kachhiya Patel Wadi in Jambusar in which, around 325 gents and ladies from Jambusar and its nearby villages had participated.
AIDS spreads due to unprotected sexual contacts and according to Indian mentality, the people are trying to hide it which, knowingly or unknowingly, results into its wider spread. Keeping this danger spot in mind, to develop the real understanding about it in the society and remove the wrong beliefs prevailing about it on the basis of scientific facts, Yogi Divine Society had organized this shibir.
In this seminar, with the help of a presentation, the institution’s worker Sri Ashishbhai Gandhi had explained as to how do we get infected by the virus of H.I.V. and how does it gradually get converted into AIDS while also explaining the deadliness of it he said that, it slowly nullifies our immunity to fight the diseases what we know as “AIDS”. As per the figures of 2015 there are 3.5 crores H.I.V. positives living in the world out of which 68, 000 die from India only.
At this stage, the renowned doctor from Jambusar who was present there informed that, the latest science has found out medicines capable of controlling the increase of virus of H.I.V. and nearly 30 of such medicines are available in the market with the help of which, a patient of AIDS can live a healthy and long life and talking of misbeliefs about AIDS, he advised to keep away from theme.
At the end of the shibir, while speaking, P. Shrijivallabhswami advised all to live life with full loyalty to own wife as per the slogan, “with only one wife, we are always the celibates”. Today, the people have become willfulness under the effects of modernization which is very danger and provides free ground to the AIDS to spread freely so, the self-controlled life is in our own interest only.
