World AIDS Day - 2016, Nadiad
On account of the World AIDS Day, the 1st December, to spread the awareness about AIDS in the society, Yogi Divine Society had organized a seminar on Tuesday, the 13th Dec 2016 in the Assembly Hall of Sharda Mandir High School at Nadiad in which, around 225 gents and ladies from Nadiad city had participated.
In the beginning of the seminar, the volunteer of Yogi Divine Society Sri Kishorbhai Patel described the social service activities of the institution regularly conducted in the country as well as abroad and said that, as the medical science makes progress, the virus of the diseases also go on becoming immune to the medicines giving rise to new diseases like AIDS, ebola etc. under the circumstances, it is in the best interest of all of us to live a self-controlled life with proper In this foods and life-style.
Nadiad Public Health Center’s supervisor Sri Rakeshbhai Shah had, with the help of a presentation, provided information about AIDS like its deadliness, the reasons for our getting infected by the H.I.V. virus, its symptoms and the treatment for it etc. by showing the related pictures and the figures while also describing what precautionary steps should be taken to be secure from it. Even today, when the science itself also doesn’t have any 100 % treatment/cure for it, explaining the slogan “Precaution is the best Cure” he requested the people to cooperate more and more in spreading the awareness about AIDS to curb its spread in the society.
In addition to the volunteer of Yogi Divine Society Sri Kishorbhai Patel, Nadiad’s Yuva President Sri Jigneshbhai Brahmabhatt, the Municipal Councilor of Nadiad Smt. Jignashaben Patel also was also present in this seminar.
On taking opinions of the participants at the end of the presentation, everybody appreciated in one voice such activities of social services done by Yogi Divine Society and, promising to fully cooperate in spreading in the society the information received here, they also requested to repeat such activities at different places too.
