The distributions of related cards for “Maa Amrutam” & “Maa Vatsalya” to 250 main persons of the families living under the poverty line and registered under the scheme was done in “Atmiya Sanskar Dham” situated at Manjalpur in Vadodara on Sunday, the 30th April 2017 in the presence of saints and volunteers from Yogi Divine Society and the political and social leaders from the society and around 2000 other people present there were also asked to take the advantage of these schemes.

The Govt. of Gujarat had launched a scheme “Mukhyamantri Amrutam (MA)” in 2012 which aimed at providing the best medical treatments at the concessional rates or free of any charge to the people from poor families suffering serious diseases of the state. By increasing the scope/spread of this scheme in 2012, the Govt. started “Maa Vatsalya” Scheme by covering the people of families whose income was less than Rs. 1,20,000/- p.a. and under this scheme, the medical assistance of Rs. 2.00,000/- is available for serious diseases. This scheme is entirely managed by the state govt. and the payment is directly made to the institutions providing the treatments.

By organizing a mega camp in Vadodara city, Yogi Divine Society had distributed biometric cards for these schemes to the people from middle and poor class registered under these schemes.

Sri Sanjaybhai Chauhan had informed about “Maa Amrutam” and “Ma Vatsalya” schemes and had called upon eligible persons to take their advantage by telling the procedure for the same. While appealing the people present there to widely popularize these schemes among other people, the mayor of Vadodara city Sri Bharatbhai Dangar had highly praised the cooperation received from the saints and the volunteers of Yogi Divine Society. Speaking on this occasion, the regional saint from Vadodara city P. Suchetanswami explained the popular saying, “Health is Wealth” and said that, by living a pure and addiction-free life, we can keep most of the diseases away but yet, if a disease develops, we can take the advantage of these schemes which are like a boon for the people of middle and poor class. After the occasional addresses, the cards for these schemes were distributed to the gent beneficiaries at the hands of saints and the leading dignitaries while in the lady dept., they were distributed by the sadhvi sisters and the leading ladies.

In addition to the saints and volunteers from Yogi Divine Society, the dignitaries like Vadodara city’s mayor Sri Bharatbhai Dangar, Sri Yogeshbhai Patel (Dy. Mayor, Vadodara), Sri Nileshbhai Rathod (Councilor), Sri Trikambhai (Manager, Narmada Bhavan, Income evidence dept.) and, in the lady dept., the leaders like Smt. Ranjanben Bhatt (MLA, Vadodara) and Smt. Sangitaben Patel (Councilor) also had remained present on this occasion who all had highly appreciated the spirit by Yogi Divine Society to actively participate in all such social service activities while, all the beneficiary families also had highly thanked the institution for providing all the useful information about such Govt. Schemes and guiding right from beginning till registration under them.
