29th September has been observed as the “World Heart Day” all over the world since the year 2000. On account of this, the volunteer of Yogi Divine Society, under the guidance and leadership of local volunteer, Shri Chintanbhai Patel, had visited every house in the backward areas in Avidha village of Zaghadiya Tal. in Bharuch Dist. on Monday, the 28th Sept 2015 and distributed to more than 50 needy and deserving aged sick persons, the cards of Baroda Heart Institute and Research Center for Check Up of their health at the concessional and affordable rates.

Most of the people in Avidha are adivasis and are poor and earn their livelihood by doing labour work in surrounding fields and the factories and are gripped in the control of various addictions and false and bad customs due to lack of proper education, resulting in several health related problems among them. Secondly, even the basic/primary medical facilities are also not available in the surrounding here and, due to their poverty, they don’t even afford also, to go to the nearby cities for their medical check-up. Keeping all these factors before the eyes, the volunteers of Yogi Divine Society went house to house there and found out the needy and deserving sick people requiring urgent medical check-up and distributed to more than such 50 persons, the cards of Baroda Heart Institute and Research Center for check-up of their health at concessional and affordable rates.

The people from these areas had whole heartedly welcomed with the spirit of their obligations, these initiatives of rare and most wanted social services by Yogi Divine Society and had expressed their thanks.
