The day of 29th September has been observed/celebrated as the “World Heart Day” since the year 2000. In order to develop and spread the awareness in the general public about the heart diseases and for preventing them, Yogi Divine Society, Vadodara had organized a sabha in Asanvad Village of Jambusar Tal. in Bharuch Dist. on Sunday, the 11th Oct 2015 in the night at 8:30 pm in the presence of the regional saint leaders P. Shreejivallabhswami and P. Bhagwatswaroopswami and the elderly volunteer in which, the sarpanch of Asanvad Village, the atmiya swajan Shri Dharmendrasinhji had remained present as a chief guest and around 300 gents, ladies and the youths had participated and had got the information about heart attack and the diseases related to heart.

After the occasional addresses by Shri Amrutbhai (Samoj) and Shri Kirtibhai (Kanthariya) in the beginning of the sabha, Shri Ashishbhai Gandhi had given the special information about CVD (Cardio Vascular Diseases) through presentation while also informing about the various reasons for the blockages of the arteries and had also explained their seriousness and the methods/solutions for avoiding/treating them by explaining how to provide the suitable atmosphere to the heart to keep it healthy. All had become conversant about the deadly effects of wine and tobacco in the heart diseases through this presentation.

Then, the regional saint leader Shri Shreejivallabhswami said in his address that, a walking for at least 30 minutes a day, nutritious digestible food and a tension free life can avoid heart diseases up to a great extent and, to keep the heart healthy, it must be provided a suitable atmosphere, even those ladies and the children, who don’t smoke themselves, also can be the victims of the diseases of the heart and the lungs simply even by the passive smoking and all were advised to live in clean and pure atmosphere.

Yogi Divine Society had distributed to all the needy and deserving attendants the passes at the hands of the regional saint leader P. Shreejivallabhswami for the check-up of heart diseases at the Baroda Heart Institute at the concessional rates. Shri Balwantbhai (Samoj) had very nicely looked after all the arrangements of the entire meeting.

At the end of the sabha, having known about the heart diseases and their seriousness, everybody had resolved to remain cautious about his own good health and had whole heartedly thanked the saints and the workers of Yogi Divine Society for organizing very first time in Asanvad such an appreciable activity of social service.
