On account of World Yoga Day, Yogi Divine Society and Jay Charities had jointly organized a Yoga Camp on Wednesday, the 21st June 2017 in Atmiyadham, Bangur Nagar, Goregaon, Mumbai in which, the yogacharyas like Sri Vijay Sharma, Smt. Madhu Sharma and Sri Ramavtar Bhattade had remained present and had explained different asans and pranayama to nearly 100 participating ladies and gents with practical demonstrations where, even Smt. Vidhya Thakur, the minister of Maharashtra for women and child welfare was present.

As a result of successful efforts by India’s PM Sri Narendrabhai Modi, UNO has declared 21st June as World Yoga Day since to 2015 and lakh of people in the world have made yoga as a part of their daily life and have been able to maintain good health. To give wider publicity to this movement, Yogi Divine Society and Jay Charities had jointly organized this camp in Mumbai this year on this day.

The yogacharyas Sri Vijay Sharma, Smt. Madhu Sharma and Sri Ramavtar Bhattade had given training of Surya Namaskar, Anulom Vilom Pranayam, Bhastrika Pranayam and Pashchimottasan, Dhanurasan, Bhujangasan and Shavasan to the participants in this camp.

While highly appreciating this effort by Yogi Divine Society and Jay Charities, the Maharashtra’s Min. for women & child welfare Smt. Vidhya Thakur had congratulated the yogacharyas and said that, if the women and children adopt yogasans and pranayams as a part of their daily routine life, the future generation of India can be healthy. The movement for spreading the awareness about yoga that the PM of India Sri Narendrabhai Modi has started, has got a very wide and positive response in the entire world today which shows the success/validity/relativity of ancient Indian Yoga Science.

Smt. Vidhya Thakur and all the yogacharyas were honoured by giving them the bouquets on this occasion where, the institution’s elderly volunteers like Sri Khushalbhai Kawa, Sri Paragbhai Pithwa, Sri Shirishbhai Mokashi and Sri Dhirenbhai Goswami were also present.
