Farmer's Conference - 2015, Netrang
With a noble, important and valuable aim and intention of making aware the farmers of about a number of new inventions in cultivation of sugar-cane nowadays, a convention of farmers was organized by Yogi Divine Society between 9.00 am & 12.00 noon on Tuesday, the 21st July 2015 at Bhaktidham, at & post Netrang in which, around 1000 farmers from Netrang, Valiya, Mauza and the surrounding villages had remained present.
When sufficient and satisfactory cultivation of sugar-cane is being done in Netrang and its surrounding areas, Yogi Divine Society had arranged for an open convention of farmers of these areas under the guidance of P. Bhaktivallabhswami in collaboration with Narmada Sugar Factory so that, these farmers can increase their production of sugar-cane in their farms and increase their income.
In the beginning of the meeting, P. Bhaktivallabhswami quoted a Sanskrit slogan “Sanghau Shakti Kaliyuge” and said that, the unity is strength/power, and, if we all work with unity and cooperation with each other in present day time, we will be able to achieve real progress and prosperity of all. If all the farmers properly make use of modern technology with mutual cooperation, they all can certainly achieve better economic prosperity and stability. The farming experts/specialists from Narmada Sugar Factory informed and guided about and explained in detail as to which system should be adopted in cultivation of sugar-cane to receive the maximum production and for this, they also informed about the care to be taken at every step/stage of cultivation right from its sowing till harvesting of its crop and thus, gave to all a very valuable and useful latest guidance in the matter.
The rare, unique and the most valuable speciality of this convention here was that, the Chairman of Narmada Sugar Factory promised every farmer present here to provide to him all the help and assistance needed by him for his cultivation of sugar-cane and he also undertook to purchase their total produce at the most reasonable prevailing rates/prices and thus, showed to every farmer his personal love and affection like their own family members and encouraged them the most.
The high and respectable dignitaries like Sri Ghanshyambhai Patel (C.M., Narmada Sugar Factory), Sri Ajaysinhji (Vice C.M., Narmada Sugar Factory), Sri Narendrabhai (M.D., Narmada Sugar Factory), Sri Kishoresinhji (Dir. Netrang region, Narmada Sugar Factory), Sri Dharmendrasinhji (Dir. Mauza region, Narmada Sugar Factory), Sri Yogendrasinhji (Dir. Valiya region, Narmada Sugar Factory), Sri Chhitubhai Panetha, and Sri Sanmukhbhai were also present on this occasion.
At the end of the meeting, everybody took meals together like members of a single family here.
