Career Guidance Workshop for SSC Students - 2015 : Bhandup, Mumbai
The Atmiya Youth Group (Bhandup, Mumbai) of Yogi Divine Society had, between 5.00 pm & 7.00 pm in the evening, organized a Career Guidance Workshop for SSC Students in Ghanshyam Pradesh, Mumbai, on Monday, the 8th June 2015 to guide the students, who had just appeared for the examinations of 10th and 12th std, to enable them to choose/select their appropriate faculty for further studies. As many as 180 boys and 50 girls participated in the program and took benefit of the same.
Sri Avnish Singh (Science Teacher- SMPR School) welcomed all the students of 10th std present there with his good wishes for their success in 10th std.
This was followed by a Powerpoint presentation program through which, Sri Amit Singh (M.Sc. Maths), a professor from Ghatkopar’s Ramniranjan Zunzunwala College, showed, explained and guided the students of 10th std as to which subjects and which faculty they should select out of Arts, Commerce, Science, Management, Engg, Diploma and vocational courses and what skills are required as eligibility for the same and satisfactorily replied to all the questions from the audience.
The guest, Sri Sardar Tara Singh (MLA-Mah) and his son Sri Johni Singh also were kind enough to remain present in the program and to guide the students.
While addressing the audience, Sri Sardar Tara Singh advised students to really and sincerely work hard for their studies during higher education while wishing them the success in their 10th std. He also highly appreciated the noble work done in the society by Yogi Divine Society and P.P. Hariprasadswamiji for education and other activities and for other facilities and assistance require by the students for the same.
In the end, the youth leader of Atmiya Youth Group, Bhandup Sri Manishbhai Shah gave a review and the outcome of today’s workshop and thanked our atmiya kinsman Sri Sardar Tara Singh for coming to the program. All the participant students were very much impressed and happy to receive very useful, important and valuable guidance about their further studies.
