World No Tobacco Day - 2017, Sadhli
On account of World Tobacco Prohibition Day, Yogi Divine Society had organized a meeting in Shankar Park Society in Sadhali village of Jetpur Taluka on Thursday, the 15th June 2017 in which, around 120 ladies, gents and youths had participated to learn about the deadly effects of tobacco and its products.
With the help of a power point presentation, the institution’s volunteer Sri Pranavbhai informed all the participants in the meeting that, the long use/consumption of tobacco can cause deadly diseases of lungs and respiratory system due to poisonous substance like Nicotine being therein which also causes deficiencies in the proper working of our eyes, ears, shivering in hands and legs as well as paralysis and making the body inanimate.
Around 120 ladies, gents and youths had participated in the meeting to get the important information. Sri Manishbhai Shah (Ind. Vice Pres., BJP Vadodara Dist.) also attended the meeting who had highly praised such efforts of awakening the general public by the institution and had desired/requested for more of such activities of social welfare from the institution.
