On account of “World No Tobacco Day” being observed the world over, a youth convention was organized between 8.00 pm & 9.30 pm on Monday, the 1st June 2015 by youth workers of Sanatan Pradesh (Bharuch).

The regional youth worker Sri Smitalbhai Patel informed about the disadvantages of consuming tobacco. Through a Powerpoint presentation program he also presented a picture of deadliness of direct or indirect use/consumption of tobacco and the figures of deaths resulting due to it in India and in the world every year. Simultaneously, he also narrated the benefits of giving up this addiction and also showed in detail as to how do we all suffer, not only financially but, also socially and health wise due to this addiction.

The elderly workers of the region like Sri Mahipatsingh Raj, Sri Ranjit Singh Solanki, Sri Gordhanbhai Patel and Sri Sujitbhai Patel also remained present to specially encourage the youths.

Approximately, all the 150 youths, who attended this meeting and vowed before the elders to give up their addictions.
